Your "Knitworthy" List
Have you made your "knitworthy" holiday gift list yet? With only six weeks until Christmas and three and half weeks until Hanukkah, you need to get crackin' with those needles to make it happen! The Welted Fingerless Gloves pattern has long been a favorite of ours. We love slipping these beauties on when there's a nip in the air, and we've been known to keep them on all day. Our sample uses Kathmandu DK, a beautiful tweed yarn that has the look of a rustic wool but is incredibly soft due to the lovely blend of Merino wool, silk and cashmere. A single skein is enough for TWO pairs of mitts!

Lara: To Pom or Not to Pom?
If you're looking for a quick, holiday project that's also quite the showstopper, we think the Lara Hat from designer Kristel Nieves is a gem! With two skeins of Malabrigo Rasta - one each of two different colors - we made two adult sized hats (one the reverse of the other, colorwise). That's a heck of a lot of bang for your buck!
