Fresh Off Our Needles!
The Amari Shawl, knit with Juniper Moon Farm's Sabine, will literally FLY off your needles. A little bit of stockinette, a few rows of garter here and there, finish with a wee bit of lace and before you know it, you've knit yourself a beautiful new shawl! Perfect to keep this month's chill at bay!
Loop's 10 Book!
Sooooo, we missed out last September and didn't get our order in quickly enough for London LYS Loop's 10th anniversary book '10'. When the email arrived two weeks ago letting us know we had another opportunity to order, we jumped on it! The book has 12 patterns celebrating 10 fabulous years of Loop. All patterns are written and charted and each book comes with a download code for an e-book option.
We knit up their Rosemaling Mitts with Brooklyn Tweed Shelter. The designer, Tiff Fussell, describes these as, "An ideal beginners project for those who know a little knitting, a little crochet and now fancy dabbling in a little embroidery!" These easy mitts are edged with simple crochet, and provide a blank canvas for what Tiff calls a ‘woolly tattoo’. Adorn your plain knits with a special motif and find a home for precious scraps. Use the template provided or experiment with your own arrangement of petals and tendrils.

The Wonderful Wallaby is an adventure in seamless knitting. The efficient use of double point and circular needles eliminates seams and joining of component parts.
