Just in Case You Missed It!
This past Saturday, we were delighted to host a trunk show with Ashley of Neeley's Knits. A huge "thank you!" to everyone that dropped in to visit. We met Ashley earlier this year at the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival and instantly knew we wanted to have her for a visit...and she didn't disappoint! In case you missed it, she dyed a special self-striping sock yarn inspired by our sweet shop dog Stanley! For those of you who aren't local -- or couldn't make it for whatever reason -- we kept a few skeins for the shop and would be delighted to ship one your way -- just let us know!
Fresh off Our Needles! Tokyo Shawl!
Marianne Isager's Tokyo Shawl combines beautiful color and simple knitting for a stunning wrap you won't want to take off! The wrap is 26" wide and 68" long, giving you lots of warmth and wrapping options. It's knit with Isager Alpaca 1 and Spinni, holding two strands together throughout. The shawl is available in three kit combinations; Light, Medium or Dark. Each kit includes all the yarn you need to knit the shawl: four skeins of Isager Alpaca 1, five skeins of Isager Spinni in five different colors, and three mini skeins of Isager Spinni in three different colors, and the pattern. Whew! If you get this one on your needles now, you'll be wearing it in just in time for Fall!

Non-Stop Knitalong News!
The Yearlong Knitalong...Allllllllmost Finished!
Don't forget to join us in the store today -- Monday, September 12th -- at 11am for the second month of the Two Harbors Poncho. We love the construction of this piece -- stitched sideways in two easy panels and seamed up the center. Two Harbors is a fun knit and truly flatters every figure. Our sample is knit in Shelter from Brooklyn Tweed, which makes it incredibly light and airy.
Haus of Yarn Summer Sockalong
We challenged you to make four pairs of socks -- one pair of socks per month, all summer long. September 30th is the deadline! For those that have been playing along -- BRING your completed socks by the shop on Saturday, October 1st and receive a prize!
