New Dyer!!

We're thrilled to welcome another local dyer to the Made in Nashville area of our shop!  In addition to carrying Camellia Fiber Co, Fringe Supply Co, Nutmeg Fibers Old Rusted Chair, we're now a stockist for Modus Operandi

We have two of Rin's yarns, each available in six gloriously botanically-dyed colors! Fingeringa 70/30 blend of superwash merino wool and silk, is a single-ply high twist that is silky smooth with a very slight sheen that adds amazing depth to the color. Lacea 72/28 blend of kid mohair and silk, is lace-weight and non-superwash; it's fluffy, soft, and perfect for holding double to create a halo effect.

That's Rin in the photo up top! She's the owner and dyer behind Modus Operandi - and she'll be popping up in our booth at Fiber in the 'Boro on Saturday, November 2nd! Save the date!

Modus Operandi + Interlude

We took one skein of Fingering and one skein of Lace Mohair Silk from Modus Operandi, held both strands together and worked up a new shop sample of the Interlude Shawl. We love this one; it's lightweight, fully reversible and - in this yarn - incredibly drapey. Knit from the top down with garter stitch and simple fishnet lace, this one is a masterpiece of delicate simplicity! We love the styling versatility as well; wear it like a traditional shawl, scrunch it up and style like a scarf or place the crescent shape in the front like a cowl!
