Leaves on the Vine

Leaves on the Vine is a relaxing, easy lace pattern. Starting with garter stitch, there are no short rows and no counting! The leaf section includes both written and charted instructions and is easy to learn. We used the new Donegal Fine from Debbie Bliss, a fingering weight wool with 5% cashmere for extra softness.

Zumie cowl

So cute, so quick, so easy! New from HiKoo is Zumie, a bulky soft blend of wool, acrylic and nylon. There are two free patterns on the ball band, a hat and the pictured cowl. Only one skein for each!

Trailwalk

This cute little scarf is a great accent piece. Knit with Mountain Colors Perspectives Kit featuring River Wash Sport. Gradient dyed mini-skeins are knit in an easy and stretchy rib stitch. Trailwalk pattern is included in the kit.

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
