Made in America Yarns

Trunk Show! Now through January 23rd!

We are excited to present a new trunk show from Made in America Yarns! Made in America Yarns are produced and dyed exclusively by the Huntingdon Yarn Mill located in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Huntingdon Yarn Mill has been in continuous operation since 1940 and boasts a number of second and third generation employees as well as seasoned veterans of the yarn industry. From designing the yarn to dyeing it, all of their yarns are proudly made right here in the United States.

American Lamb is made from 100% U.S. grown and processed Merino Wool. With a micron count of 22 it is some of the softest American wool available.

Shimmer is a cotton yarn with a shiny rayon twist that gives it a little shine. Perfect for breathable cardigans, shells, tanks and many other projects. Content: 64% Georgia Cotton, 32% Rayon, 4% Nylon

Florafil™ with Metallic is a bulky hand-knitting yarn with a twist of metallic thread for just enough shine to make your project pop! Content: 96% Georgia cotton / 2% nylon / 2% metallic

Florafil™ Super Soft Cotton in Bulky is a premium multicolored hand-knitting yarn with the softness of roving and the strength of conventional ring-spun cotton. Content: 97% Georgia cotton / 3% nylon

Wayfarer is a new line of fingering weight wool. The yarn is twisted and dyed at the mill here in Philadelphia and our wool is sourced domestically. This pure wool line is ideal for colorwork such as Fair Isle, cabling, and lace work as well!

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
