Berroco Car Seat Blanket

Newest yarn from Berroco! Indigo is a 100% recycled cotton yarn that's machine washable. This yarn is perfect for everyone in the family! We made two car seat blankets from the booklet Car Seat Blankets by Leisure Arts, and still had enough yarn left over to make booties or a hat!

Oh Snip! We just got in a shipment of new scissors! We have lots to choose from, including foldable scissors for travel, thread snips, finger snips and the knife-edge scissors - super sharp scissors that will cut through paper and cloth accurately!

Lana Gatto Class Easy Cowl

Easy Cowl! We have a super simple pattern for you this week, that works for many yarns! On the left we used Lady Dye Yarns Worsted, and on the right is Lana Gatto Class. The pattern is knit in the round, alternating 6 knit rounds with 6 purl rounds. All you need to change is the number you cast on and the needle size and you have a great looking cowl for yourself or to give! Pattern is free with purchase of yarn.

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
