Lang Mille Colori Linus

This past week's cold snap was a great opportunity to wear all the recently finished winter projects one more time! Here's a fun new shawlette using two different colors of Lang Mille Colori Baby. Linus, a free pattern on Ravelry, is a great way to play with colors, especially with the fun self-striping yarn. Lightweight Fine Merino Superwash makes for a incredibly soft scarf that will carry you through Spring.

Silver Heart Ranch Alpaca Flora Poste Cap

Knit local! We have the most lovely alpaca yarn from a local farm, Silver Heart Ranch. This two ply sport weight is cozy and fuzzy and comes in several beautiful natural shades. We knit Flora Poste's Cap with one skein. All over seed stitch gives the simple cap fantastic texture!

Babe Soft Cotton Worsted Hat

We have a cute new baby yarn, Babe Soft Cotton Worsted. This is a cotton/acrylic blend with generous yardage and fun multi colorways. We made a toddler sized Garter Ear Flap Hat with less than one ball!

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
