How excited are you for Stitches South 2015, right here in Nashville? We can't wait! For the past couple of months we have been preparing the Yarn Bus for it's outing to Opryland Hotel. Come visit the bus, right on the market floor - booths #513, #515 & #517. We have been busy putting together exclusive patterns, yarns, and many kits, so be sure to stop by the always fabulous Yarn Bus!

Stitches South 2015

We are so excited to introduce exclusive Haus of Yarn colorways, dyed just for Stitches South by the Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze! We have 4 colorways on the Peppino fingering weight yarn, based on local landmarks. To go along with the yarn 3 original designs will debut at Stitches South in knit and crochet! Be sure to stop by the bus to see these fabulous patterns and yarns first!

Ito Yarns Kinu

These are just two of the many new designs using our favorite Ito Yarns! We have many more garments on the bus at Stitches for you to try on! On the left is a perfect tee for summer, the Silken Straw Summer Tee. This only takes two cones of Kinu!

On the right is the Unemizo Capelet, which is light as air and perfect for keeping the chill away. You can pull it down over your shoulders too! A blend of mohair/silk Sensai and silk Kinu keeps the texture interesting.

Knerdshop Tees

Awesome t-shirts from Knerdshop! We have 3 styles, "I Learned to Knit in Prison," "Does a Bear Knit in the Woods?" and "Knit for Brains." We also have completely restocked tote bags and even have some new designs!

Knits for Boys

Saturday at 10:30 author Kate Oates will be at our booth signing her new book "Knits for Boys." Be sure to stop by and get your copy!

This book contains 29 patterns for sweaters, tops, vests, hoodies, mittens, hats, and more that boys will want to wear sized from 4-12. It also features an incredible reference section on how to knit for kids: choosing colors and styles, sizing, how to make a sweater "grow with" your child, how to find a comfortable fit, and even tutorials on simple additions to any design like hoods and installing zippers.

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
