Baa-ble Hat

Sheep Thrills!

Ready for a little color-work?  We think the Baa-ble hat makes an ideal introduction to Fair Isle color-work knitting.  It's a quick knit and, in true Fair Isle tradition, only two colors are used at a time.  Both of our samples are knitted with Ella Rae Classic, a fantastic yarn for classic knits like winter sweaters and hats.  Ella Rae Classic Solids & Classic Heathers come in an amazing array of solid and heathered colors and a generous 219-yard ball make this a terrific value yarn!

Also new are these felted sheep notions bags, handmade by artisans in Kathmandu. This industry provides livelihood opportunities and reliable income to artisans in Nepal....so you can organize your needles and notions in one of these bags and feel good about it!  Available in a multitude of colors.

Throw in the Sheep Needle Gauge & Sheep Tape Measure and you've got a flock of fun!

Top This! Hat

Back in Stock!

DMC Top This! is a snuggly, silky bulky weight yarn that comes with a whimsical character perfect for adorning the top of a knitted hat. The bright and colorful yarn is made up of three continuous textures in a blend of acrylic and nylon. It's easy to knit a Top This! hat because you never need to change yarn.  A free hat pattern is included with each ball.

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
