This Week's Inspiration!

Although it's still August, you can already feel Fall in the air...school has started and pre-season football is underway!  What better way to show that team spirit than with a hand-knit or crocheted scarf?   Show your own team spirit with the Ribbed Pennant Scarf, knit with just one skein of Uptown Worsted Spirit Stripes - a cozy 100% anti-pilling acrylic, dyed to easily work up into crisp stripes. The softness of this yarn is so incredible, and the colorsso saturated, you'll want this right up next to your skin. It's perfect for wrapping up & getting snuggly in any cold weather...not just in the stadium!

Don't knit?  No worries! The Color Pooling Argyle Scarf is the crocheted version of our knitted sample.  You'll need two skeins for this one!

Holiday Projects! What...Too Soon?

Here we are, talking about Fall, so it also seems like the time to suggest some end-of-the-year projects... because - as you know - for stress-free holiday knitting, you can never start too early!  If you need to make multiple holiday gifts, can we suggest the Irish Mesh Cowl? This cowl is a fun, fast project and can be worn long or wrapped around twice for a closer fit.

We chose Cumulus from Fyberspates for our sample.  An alternative to mohair, this yarn has a delicate halo that creates a soft, drapey fabric with a delicate haze...without being itchy.  74% Alpaca, 26% Silk. 165 yds
