Blue Heron Cowl

This Week's Inspiration!

Back in stock!  There always seems to be some yarns that you just can't get enough of and Blue Heron's Chenille is definitely one of them!  We recently received a massive shipment of this ever popular and cuddly soft chenille. It's available in ultra-saturated, rich colors and incredible in the hand.  The pattern for this one-skein cowl is free with yarn purchase.  A ridiculously easy pattern, and perfect for when you want to knit but are just too tired to keep track of any sort of row count. It is recommended that this yarn be hand-wound.  100% Rayon/ 250 yards

Churchmouse Mohair Bias Loop

Another Favorite | Back in stock!

Another one of our (and obviously yours too!) favorite shop models is the Churchmouse Mohair Bias Loop. The ever popular Mice In the Tea and Off With Her Head color-ways from Frabjous Fibers are back in stock!  There are tons of other colors to choose from, so you should have no trouble finding a favorite!  Our sample is knit on much smaller needles than the pattern calls for (we used size US 7) and with bigger yarn! We love the softness and drape of Mad Hatter, a sport weight, hand-dyed mini skein kit from Frabjous Fibers.

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
