Sock It To Me!
In anticipation of cooler weather (and the inevitable urge we all have to knit up a pair of cozy foot-warmers), we've stuffed the store with sock yarn. Stop by and stock up!
- The Regia 4-ply Design Line by Arne & Carlos entices with self-patterning colors that mimic traditional Norwegian effects in six extraordinary color combinations. This sock yarn is machine washable and includes some nylon for strength, making it easy to care for and amazing to wear! Size is approximately 460 yards, 100g. 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon. Fingering weight.
- Make colorful, stripy socks easily with Regia Stripemania Color 6-Ply! This wool & polyamide blend yarn makes gorgeous, brilliant, even stripes all by itself as you work. This is a hard-wearing yarn that's machine washable - and dryable too, on the tumble cycle. This 6-ply, DK weight yarn is perfect for fall and winter when you want thicker, warm socks. These stripes are ADDICTIVE, made even more so because the DK weight yarn knits up quickly, giving you fast results. Size is approximately 410 yards, 150g. 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon. Sport to DK weight.
- Want an addictive knit? You've found it! Regia Color 8-Ply not only features changing colors of plies, but also shifts along the length of the yarn...a melange, if you will. This is a rare light worsted weight sock yarn in a super-sized 150 gram ball (50% more than a typical 100 gram ball) so has plenty for a larger pair of socks. Size is approximately 328 yards/ 150g. 75% superwash wool, 25% polyamide. Light worsted weight.
- In addition to the 6 new colorways that we received from The Regia 4-ply Design Line by Arne & Carlos seen in the first photo, we received 3 colorways from their initial color story that seem to practically be sold out everywhere else! Size is approximately 230 yards, 50g. 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon. Fingering weight. Since you'll need two of these to make a pair, we made these into kits and are selling them in pairs!
Speaking of Socks!
Your enthusiasm over our Nashville Collection yarn series has made us downright giddy! We launched the collection way back in April and debuted it at Stitches South. This one is Broadway at Night from Chicago-based, indie-dyer Angela Combest at Fleur De Fiber. Enough time has passed and we've begun to see some WIPs and even some FOs. Here's aVanilla Sock that Vicki is working on. She grabbed a few skeins of solid colors from Koigu to kick it up a notch for an orange heel flap and has plans for the toe to be yellow! Can't wait to see these complete.
If you haven't already seen the entire series, be sure to stop by the shop and see the entire Nashville Collection!
