SIX Weeks and Counting!

Bring on the glitz!  We shared a few great projects in last week's newsletter that'll work up quickly for everyone who's made your knit-worthy list...and this week, we found a few more for you, this time using Berroco's Brio yarn.  Each of the brilliantly-dyed colorways of Berroco Brio is a thick-and-thin wool blend infused with glittering metallic strands that are completely soft to the touch adding a little bit of glamour to your projects! All four projects have an easy skill level.

  • Barnell features a luxurious fringe that runs the length of this wide textured scarf, giving it a sophisticated look.  3 skeins
  • Goshen is a cute hat worked from the earflaps up, knit seamlessly in an easy ridged stitch pattern. 1 skein
  • Stratton is an easy hooded scarf, worked in a simple textured rib, with the hood picked up and knit after completion. 3 skeins
  • Emmett is a pair of cozy fingerless gloves done in a simple rib stitch that knits up quickly and easily. 1 skein

A Note from Christina, Organizer of Threads of Kindness:

Hello everyone...I'd like to invite you to join a group that is very near to my heart as I know it is for many of you.  We are working to provide hospice patients in middle Tennessee with a blanket or shawl for a little comfort at a time when they may most need it and preemie blankets and hats to many of the Nashville's Neo-Natal units.  If you think this giving opportunity may be right for you, please reach out to us.  We are fortunate to have generous yarn donations from Haus of Yarn helping us along our way and would love to share our stash with you.
