Meet Me at the Ryman

Viva NashVegas!

Soooo, Stitches South...are you coming? We'll be there! We're so excited to share three exclusive fingering weight Haus of Yarn colorways, dyed just for us by the lovely Angela of Fleur de Fiber! They're based on Nashville landmarks - The Parthenon, Lower Broadway and The Ryman - and they're only available through Haus of Yarn!

In addition to the three exclusive yarn colorways, we have two new, original shawl designs (one knit, one crochet) and they''ll be debuting at Stitches South -- The Parthenon Shawl (designed by HOY's Jo and pictured in the two top photos above) and Open Mic III (pictured below, designed by HoY's Julie). Be sure to stop by the bus to see these fabulous patterns and yarns first! If you missed Meet Me at the Ryman's (the red one above) debut at Stitches South last year, we'll have a gorgeous model at the event this year, knitted from three skeins of Geilsk, a cotton/wool blend available in a wide array of colors. The pattern is inspired by the historic architecture of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Not familiar with Stitches? Well! Stitches South will be in Nashville, from March 31st - April 3rd at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.  There'll be tons of classes and vendors and we'll be there, of course!  We have so many new yarns and samples to share with you -- Be sure to check out the Stitches South website, register for a class and purchase a ticket for the vendor market!  See you there -- we'll have the Yarn Bus parked in booths 621, 623 and 625.

April Knitalong

The Yearlong Knitalong: April!

Join us in store, Monday, April 4th at 11am for the fifth installment of the Yearlong Knitalong.  This month, we'll be working on a knitted pillow!  You get to design it yourself using one of the afghan blocks from the Haus of Yarn Block-a-Month afghan book. Our goal this month is to hone those seaming skills!  Depending on the block pattern you choose for the front and back of the pillow, you'll have the chance to learn several different seaming techniques.  Not interested in making a pillow?  You can still join the Yearlong Knitalong with an afghan block pattern from the Haus of Yarn Block-a-Month Afghan book.

As a genuine 'thank you!' for your participation, all materials purchased at Haus of Yarn that relate directly to each month's knitalong will qualify for double stamps on our Haus of Yarn Reward Card. DOUBLE STAMPS! We really do appreciate your participation and want to encourage as many of you to make as many of the monthly projects as possible.  Earning double stamps will make it that much easier!

Not local?  No worries!  Join the Yearlong Knitalong virtually.  We'll be creating threads for each Knitalong project in our Ravelry group.  Click here to join our group and come knit along with us!

We'd love to see your projects!  In process or completed...if you're on Instagram, join in anytime with #yearlongknitalong and #hausofyarntn.
