Brooklyn Tweed Trunk Show

When the Fall 2016 Brooklyn Tweed collection launched last year, we were eager to grab our knitting needles and start swatching. The collection is filled with intricate cables and overall texture. What makes this collection stand out from others is that it has nine base patterns that have been interpreted for both women and men -- that is, one sweater pattern with both "hers" and "his" versions. We've anxiously waited until it was "our turn" hosting the collection, and now that it's here, we certainly aren't disappointed! We'll have it on display until Sunday, February 26th, so stop by the shop to see the collection for yourself -- and we've got loads of Brooklyn Tweed in the shop so you can start knitting ASAP!

 

 

Back in Stock: The Depth Cowl!

We are super excited about the newest collaboration between designer Talitha Kuomi and indie yarn company The Fiberseed! The Depth cowl uses just two skeins of Sprout Worsted speckles. Sprout is a four-ply superwash wool for easy care with a teensy bit of nylon for resilience...and it's American-made! A fully worsted spin gives it a dense yet soft hand. The cowl pattern is specifically designed to work with this yarn to place the pooling of the speckles in the center and solid color to the left and right! Don't you just love being the boss of your own knitting!?

We sold out of our first shipment and we're expecting this second one to go fast -- other yarns will be tough to substitute for this one, so click here, select your desired color choice, and we'll ship it to you lickety-split! If you're local, select "in-store" pickup and no shipping fee will be added -- we'll just hang on to it until you're able to swing by the shop!
