Welcome, Camellia Fiber Co.!

We’ve always made a concentrated effort to offer locally-sourced goods here at Haus, so we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that we now have a whole wall of Camellia Fiber Co’s beautiful skeins! Camellia hand-dyes their luxury yarns right here in Nashville, and the results are simply stunning.

We’ve brought in seven different Camellia Fiber Co yarns, available in five blossom-inspired colors. In-stock right now: Merino Worsted, Merino Sport, Flax, Flax DK, Halo, Sylvan and Mohair + Silk!

If you've followed us for a while -- either in-person or on social media -- you already know how incredibly lucky we are to have an entire Nashville landmark-inspired pattern collection, designed in-house by "Mama Jo."  We've re-yarned three of them to specifically highlight just how incredibly beautiful Camellia Fiber Co's yarn is.

Featured left to right:

-Meet Me at the Ryman Shawl: knit in Halo in Dahlia. Halo is a lovely, luxurious yarn (the one to use when knitting something for yourself!). It’s a blend of 80% superfine alpaca and 20% silk in a 4-ply sport weight with a gentle halo and a subtle sheen.

-Tracks at Union Station, knit in Merino Sport in Thistle. Merino Sport is 100% merino wool in a 3-ply sport weight that'll make textural stitch patterns shine and cables pop! Bonus: it's "next-to-skin" soft!

-Parthenon Shawl - knit in Sylvan in Silver. Sylvan is a fingering weight blend of 70% gray alpaca, 20% silk, and 10% cashmere. This ultra-luxurious yarn is perfect for knitting heirloom items like delicate shawls and lightweight cardigans.

We’re making Camellia Fiber available in-store only for now (it’s not in the online shop yet, although we're happy to take phone orders!!), which makes it a perfect Nashville-specific stash addition! Do stop in and wrap yourself up in one of our new samples - or perhaps allow us to help you match up one of the seven new yarns to a pattern you've selected . See you soon!
