New Yarn! New Shop Sample!
Just in time for the hectic warmer months ahead — when you need some always-know-where-you-are-in-your-row kinda knitting — here's Hitchhiker, worked in Urth Yarns Uneek Cotton, a 100% cotton DK weight self-striping yarn.
Our sample is worked with just one skein (color 1074) and measures 55 1/2" x 10 1/4". Because the garter stitch knitting starts at one end, you can stop anytime, bind off and end up with a useful neckerchief, shawlette or shawl; a perfect project to knock out in between more complicated ones!
The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, but we used DK, and therefore a larger needle - try it on a US5! One skein produced 28 "teeth"; if you want it longer, get two skeins and keep on knitting!
