One Yarn...Three Ideas!

Our box from Lady Dye Yarns finally arrived this past weekend...twenty glorious colors of 100% SW Merino single-ply fingering weight yarn! When we opened the box, we squealed and immediately began dreaming of what we'd do with it!

First up: this hat from Andrea Rangel! Light Through the Leaves uses one skein of Lady Dye Fingering in Plush along with one skein of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool in Verba Volant. We happen to have both of these on hand...here and here

Second: Pick just one skein of any Lady Dye Fingering and cast on ASAP for this shawl: Wildheart from Woolenberry. The signature lace incorporated in this pattern is a unique combination of dropped stitches, eyelets and fishnet.

...And Here's Where We Had Fun!

And here's our third pattern idea for the newest shipment from Lady Dye Yarns! With countless possibilities to play with color, we chose five favorite combos for a two-color shawl: Stella, also from Woolenberry. The garter stitch showcases the subtleties of hand-dyed yarn while the mesh sections keep this large wrap airy and lightweight.

Top: Wingaersheek and Georgia Pecan
