After an extensive search for the perfect pattern to showcase Backyard Fiberworks, we landed on a beautiful, asymmetrically striped crescent shawl: Amazing Day from Joji Locatelli. If you're comfortable knitting and purling, you can easily knit this gorgeous shawl, which dips into simple eyelets and color changes.
To make the Amazing Day shawl, you'll need one pack of "Six Pack of Sock" 100% Merino Wool (133 yards each of six colors, 798 yards total, fingering weight) and one full skein of Sock, 100% Merino Wool (400 yards, fingering weight). Try one of these combinations (clockwise from upper left):
