Silkpaca Spring Kerchief

Our Silkpaca Spring Kerchief kits have been flying out the door the past couple of weeks, but we've put a few more together!

For this gorgeous, lightweight shawl, we used two different colors of Malabrigo Yarns Silkpaca held doubled. The gradation keeps the simple pattern interesting as you knit, and the doubled laceweight yarn makes a super squishy fabric. Shop the kits by clicking HERE! Pattern is free on Ravelry, you'll find it by clicking here.

Who's Ready for Some Sparkle?

The designer of Winter Shadows has this quote on her Ravelry pattern page: "I remember being frustrated by the lack of gorgeous knits for novices; all the glamorous stuff seemed beyond my abilities. I believe knitting doesn’t have to be difficult to be beautiful." We couldn't agree more!

Berroco Ultra Alpaca gives this wrap the most gorgeous drape and adds warmth for a cooler evening. The sheer mohair/silk/sparkle stripes give what might otherwise be an overlooked piece a little elegance. We love it!

Each kit contains two skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca, two skeins of Lana Gatto silk/mohair and two skeins of Lana Gatto Paillettes. The Ultra Alpaca will be your main color (M) and the silk/mohair (held along with Pailettes) will be your contrast color (C). Click HERE to grab a Winter Shadows kit!

Yarn management tip: while you're holding them together, place the silk/mohair and the Pailettes in separate Ziploc bags to keep each one under control!

The Winter Shadows kit does not include the pattern; please click HERE to purchase that directly from the designer!
