The Cairns Cell Stitch Poncho: An Oldie but a Goodie!

Our Cairns Cell Stitch Poncho is a perfect layering piece for spring and summer and features an allover eyelet stitch pattern that works up into a swingy, lightweight fabric. Cairns is a cotton blend tape yarn and is available in four fun, striped variegated colors. Each kit contains four skeins and the pattern for the poncho; all you'll need to grab is some US 9 needles!

It's May (uh, we think), So Hello Linen!

The Caprius Shawl from Aroha Knits (gloriously knit in Lino from BC Garn) is an asymmetrical triangular shawl knit from the tip to end. The pattern alternates between easy stockinette, slip-stitch and eyelet sections. 

 

Lino, a quintessential summer yarn, knits up into a light, airy fabric that becomes softer with every wear. We all know that when linen air-dries, it can turn out a bit "crunchy" to the hand; we hand-washed ours, allowed it to air-dry as usual -- and then threw it in the dryer to soften! It's magic!

This kit contains 5 skeins of BC Garn Lino yarn; the pattern is not included (click HERE to purchase the pattern directly from Ravelry). Our sample is knit in color #56; click HERE to see allll of the colors available!  Although the pattern calls for a US 5, we worked our sample on a US 6 -- if you need one, click HERE!

 

Incise Hat Kits!

Jo and Leah held a two-person KAL and whipped up these hats using a skein each of Brooklyn Tweed Ranch 02 and Spincycle Dream State. The Incise pattern actually contains three different stitch patterns, each utilizing slipped stitches to create the pattern. You’re only using one color per row; all the main patterning is made with only knits, purls, and slips.
