New This Week: Yosemite from Trailhead Yarns

We're excited about this one! Like a lot of you, we've been on the search for a bulky weight cotton yarn -- and if you aren't already familiar with Yosemite from Trailhead Yarns, we're happy to introduce it to you!

Yosemite is 100% organic cotton, perfect for warmer climates or wool-sensitive folks. Projects will knit up super-duper quickly thanks to those big stitches...and we adore the subtle speckled colors!

We worked up this adorable baby blanket using just a single skein! We used the "It's a Party" colorway on size US 11 needles and it's perfectly sized for a car seat cover, measuring 18" w X 22"l.

Meg has Millville on her needles using "Angel Wings" which will be perfect for fall in Tennessee -- and if she ever makes it to the beach again, she's ready with only the sleeves to go!

We also love the Tigerwheet tank pattern, designed by Trailhead Yarns owner Samantha. We couldn't resist the rainbow "Pride" colorway and the pattern page photos featuring this one are stunning! Click here to see it knit up!

Tsubame Eyelet Scarf

A simple eyelet pattern highlights the gorgeous shades of Tsubame, a single-ply blend of silk, wool, and polyamide with beautiful color shifts from Noro. Simple seed stitch borders frame the body of this extra-long scarf, followed by simple rows of eyelet and soothing stockinette sections. Worked flat from end to end, this scarf is ideal for TV knitting.

Shop Tsubame HERE! You'll only need one skein since Tsubame has a whopping 656 yards per skein! Sample is shown in color 03, Sakado
