New This Week: Kelowna

Fresh off our needles this week is Kelowna, the second pattern from designer Tara-Lynn Morrison (aka Good Day, Night) and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result!

Kelowna is knit in an easy top-down raglan style using circular needles for a seamless simple construction. The pattern suggests S/M + L/XL measurements as a guide only and can be adjusted for custom fit.

Tara-Lynn writes her patterns in an easily approachable way for everyone...at any knitting level! The pattern is written straightforwardly (it helps you decide to increase or not, for instance) and suggests that you try it on as you go if you're creating your own custom fit. It's easy!

Meg knit hers using Kid Fur from Ella Rae, the floofiest (that might not actually be a word) yarn she's ever knit with and says it's "like knitting with cotton candy." Soft? Heck yes! Warm? Absolutely! The best part? The weight -- or rather the lack of it. This finished sweater is as light as a feather. She's already contemplating what color her second one will be!
