Yearlong Knitalong: January!

For January, we're working on the Itineris shawl from Hilary Smith Callis. Itineris (Latin for voyage) is a modern triangular wrap with a unique construction. The shawl is made up of three sections: a large triangle, a rectangular extension, and a smaller triangle to finish. The knitting will take you on different routes while a graphic stripe sequence forms intersecting pathways along the side. Knit entirely in garter stitch with easy-to-memorize sequences and shaping, Itineris is a fun knit that results in a striking finished piece.

We used Malabrigo Sock in Ravelry Red and Eggplant for our own Itineris. We've put together a few color combinations below for inspiration; you'll need one skein each of two colors to complete your project!
