Knitted Wit: Craft the Parks

The July shipment of Knitted Wit's Craft the Parks has arrived!  July's installment includes colors inspired by Aniakchak National Monument, Hovenweep National Monument, Salt River National Historic Park & Ecological Preserve and the Harriet Tubman National Historic Park.

Click HERE to shop Craft the Parks! All four colors are available in Sock, DK and Worsted weights!

If you've fallen in love with a skein (or TWO!) and are looking for a little pattern inspiration, the following patterns look amazing knit up using any of Knitted Wit's colors and each is a small, portable bite-sized project perfect for summertime travels!

Both the Keep Slipping Hat and Keep Sleeping Mitts from designer Shannon Squire really shine using Knitted Wit worsted. The Good as Hell and Let it Slip socks are perfect for sock weight; if you prefer DK weight socks, take a look at Saturday in the Park.

Knitted Wit: HERstory July!

For 2021, the HerStory focus is women who make a difference! Many of the women Knitted Wit is honoring this year are leaders within their spheres of influence, whether it be city, county, or country. We're so happy to join in on the celebration!

Each month, we're receiving a limited number of skeins. Each colorway has been directly inspired by an amazing woman leader. We couldn't decide on which weight of yarn to go with, so we just decided to stock all three: Sock, DK and Worsted!

The July release, Waling-Waling, honors Geraldine Roman. The colors in Waling-Waling are inspired by the Waling-Waling orchid - considered to be the Queen of Philippine flowers - and celebrate the beauty inherent in Geraldine, and the beauty that is the Philippines themselves.

Berroco Remix CHUNKY!

First there was the worsted version of Remix, then came its little sister Remix Light, and now we get to meet the big sister! That's right, Berroco is now making Remix in a CHUNKY WEIGHT! Wondering why we love it so much? Because the entire Remix line is made from 100% recycled fibers (meaning: no wool for those with allergies!!), it's machine washable and is a great tran-seasonal blend that's comfortable year-round.

To accompany the launch of Remix Chunky, Berroco has released a pattern collection consisting of 10 designs. We're only showing a few of our favorites here, but you can view them all HERE

The Claral Hat requires one skein, the Claral Cowl requires two skeins and the Claral Scarf requires three skeins! Interested in the gorgeous Robette Cardigan? Since yardage varies on selected size, take a look HERE to figure out how many per color you'd require.
