Cumulus Blanket

We know: the cuteness level (puppy + blanket) is off the charts here, but Mavis was quite insistent about inserting herself into the photography session...so we just went with it!

We've had Cumulus Rainbow from Juniper Moon Farm for a while now and if you've never had this yarn in your hands before, it'll surely will have you audibly exclaiming, "that is sooooo soft!" Cumulus Rainbow is a cloud-like worsted weight, chainette cotton yarn with a touch of nylon for durability. Using two cakes of it, we started knitting from the outside of cake #1 and then continued working cake #2 from the center out, (which keeps the ombre color sequence seamless). Our blanket is 23" wide by 33" long - a perfect size for a car seat baby blanket. Or perhaps (as Mavis obviously thinks) a puppy throw.

Shop Cumulus Rainbow HERE! You'll need two cakes if you want to make this spectacular blanket. The pattern is free and will be included with your two-cake Cumulus Rainbow purchase.

You'll need a 24" US 9 circular needle and a couple of stitch markers!

Superba Vintage

There's just something about confetti-sprinkled sock yarn that we simply cannot pass up. New from Rico Design, Superba Vintage 4-ply is available in nine stunning, vibrant colorways (we're only showing you three of our favorites here, but you can shop all nine of them HERE!). Each cake has 459 yards, and it's super-economical at just $12 a cake!
