Hiya, Hyak Sock!

It's allllmost sock-wearing-with-your-Birks season (we've been counting)! Hyak socks are a quick worsted-weight knit and an excellent pattern if you've been wanting to try your hand at sock-knitting. We love wearing these around the house, with rain boots, or even with our Birkenstocks come early fall! Since they're worked in worsted weight yarn, they're also a quick enough project for gift knitting.

For ours, we used one skein each of Jarbo Garn Raggi Sock and Navia Sock. Both of these are worsted weight wool with a touch of nylon added for strength.

Click HERE for Navia Sock Wool (that's the cream we used for the cuff, heel & toes!).

All sizes of Hyak Socks require only one skein each of Raggi and Navia!

The Hyak Sock pattern is available HERE!

Neck Noodle

We're thrilled that there's finally a chill in the air! It means we can start wearing allll our hand knits, starting with this fabulous cowl. The Peeeps Neck Noodle Cowl (yup, we said "Neck Noodle") is an easy piece - just knits and purls - worked flat, then twisted and seamed for a Moebius look.  We have four glorious kit combinations for you to choose from; ours is worked up in Charred Cotton Candy. Each kit includes two skeins of Peeeps from Jade Sapphire, a ridiculously soft blend of cashmere and wool. The pattern is also included with each kit!

Shop the Peeeps kits HERE! It's knit using US 11 needles; if you need a pair, click HERE!
