A Mountain of Brooklyn Tweed, Perfect for the Weekender!
While it still isn't quite chilly enough in Middle Tennessee to warrant sweather weather for more than about five minutes, we know cooler temperatures are coming! We've been waiting a while for a massive restock from Brooklyn Tweed and it has finally arrived! We're happy to report that we currently have sweater quantities in allllmost all 36 colors of Shelter that we stock (we're still waiting on a few more to arrive).
Shelter is 100% Targhee-Columbia wool that's woolen spun - meaning the fibers remain in a lofty jumble that traps air and offers remarkable warmth and lightness. Its two plies are gently twisted, so Shelter is a little more delicate than most commercial yarns and has a dry, soft hand. It has a faintly rustic nature and is designed to be a workhorse yarn that invites cables, ribbing, textured stitch motifs, open work, plain stockinette and garter stitch. We think it’s ideal for sweaters of every variety and winter accessories. We have loads of samples on display in the shop, but the Weekender sweater is hands-down the most popular! We're smitten with its overall texture, faux seams, and drop shoulder. Just add positive ease to the fit and it's a truly versatile, flattering sweater!

Sock Minis from Katia!!!
With so much yarn coming in - both new and restocked - it's hard to choose a favorite at any given moment. But some of our favorite recent arrivals have to be these adorable sock minis from Katia.
