New Yarn: ColourLab | New Shop Sample: Fargeklatt!

We just got a big box of DK weight ColourLab from West Yorkshire Spinners! This batch contained mostly self-striping, vivid colorful shades - with a few solids to complement them. We happened upon the Fargeklatt Hat ("fargeklatt" in roughly translates to "color splash" in Norwegian) and happily knocked out a shop sample!

It turned out even lovelier than we imagined it might! We used one skein of solid Natural Cream and one skein of self-striping Forest Stripes, which creates the illusion that we did waaaay more colorwork than we actually did. We'll eventually attach a faux fur pom to it - but for now, we're just admiring that gorgeous crown shaping detail!

Shop ColourLab DK HERE! One skein each of two different colors is required to complete the Fargeklatt Hat. Find the Fargeklatt hat pattern HERE!

Bonus: Fargeklatt's designer - Marianne Sinclair - has a similar pattern for socks! HERE it is! And of course, we have the same glorious colors in stock in West Yorkshire Spinners sock yarn as well! You're welcome! Shop that sock yarn HERE!
