Yearlong Knitalong: January!
What We're Making: Capo from Elizabeth Smith Knits!

Is it a capelet with armholes or a poncho? We think it’s a little bit of both! Plus: it's like wearing a hug! This simple sleeveless top is a fun piece that's super cozy and really easy to make too. It’s worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up and uses bulky-weight yarn - so it'll knit up quickly! We've had this piece out on display for the past month and it's quickly become a shop favorite! It's easy, easy knitting and truly looks adorable on, and it's an excellent layering piece for the fickle weather we've been having!

Our sample is knit using La Pampa, and you can grab that HERE! You"ll need five skeins for the XS/S, six skeins for the M/L and eight skeins for the XL/2XL to complete your Capo! We're only showing a few of the available colors below, but there are more than a dozen in stock!

Another excellent yarn for Capo would be Ultra Wool Chunky, which can be found HERE! Since Ultra Wool Chunky has a little more yardage than La Pampa, you'll need one less skein than the number noted for La Pampa aboveFind the Capo pattern HERE!

*Shayron is modeling the size M/L in La Pampa Marble.
