Surf's Up for the Spring Ricorumi CAL - Get Those Hooks Ready!

If you've been following our newsletter for awhile, you already know about the annual spring crochet-along from Ricorumi that we absolutely adore participating in. Well, they're doing it again this spring!

This year's theme is "Surf's Up"! Hang ten with the adorable beach-bound characters pictured above. Take a look at that rainbow-bathing-suit-wearing lamb! COME ON! And is that bear wearing little plaid shorts!?

As soon as we have the specifics for each project, we'll make kits as we've done in years past and share them here in the newsletter so you can have first crack at them!
The CAL begins March 25th, and follows for six weeks (with a break for Easter).

Noro Magazine + Asaginu

We're happy to report that Issue #20 of Noro Magazine is here!

Issue #20 contains twenty designs in two of our favorite fiber crafts: knitting and crochet. Coming in the same box (any minute!!) is a spectacular new yarn for spring and summer: Asaginu in all sixteen jewel tones.

Asaginu is a blend of linen (69%), Japanese paper (30%) and polymide (1%). It's intended to be worked on a slightly larger needle than you might expect, which creates a sheer, lightweight fabric. Noro Issue #20  has four designs utilizing Asaginu, two of which you can see above! All four of the Asaginu designs are quite lovely, though, and have us longing for the bright, sunny and warmer temps ahead of us.

Find Noro Magazine Issue 20 HERE! If you'd like to preview the issue, a handful of the twenty patterns have been uploaded to Ravelry...see them HERE! Asaginu is HERE
