Tykk Line ~ New from Sandnes Garn

First there was the worsted version of Line, then came its little sister Tynn Line, and now we get to meet the big sister! That's right, Sandnes Garn is now making Line in a CHUNKY WEIGHT! Wondering why we love it so much? Because the entire Line line is made with a cotton/viscose/linen blend (meaning no wool, which is good news for those of you with wool allergies!), it's machine washable and is a great tran-seasonal blend that's comfortable year-round. The blend offers the soft and absorbent properties of cotton and viscose, combined with the cool feeling of linen.

While we haven't yet made a sample using Tykk Line (it just arrived Friday!), there's a pattern we know it'll be perfect for! Remember our Deschain obsession from 2017? When we made multiples of the adorable Deschain sweater? Well...we're STILL obsessed!

We also got a little restock of a few colors from the original Line collection. If you're dreaming of making your own Anker's Summer Shirt, check out on-hand inventory HERE! If you'd prefer a fingering weight version, use the Anker Tee pattern along with Tynn Line HERE!

Noro Uchiwa

A beautiful new warm-weather yarn from Noro, Uchiwa is made of 50% cotton, 30% viscose and 20% silk. A worsted weight yarn with 547 yards per 200g ball, Uchiwa has a unique contrasting color twist that creates an eye-catching tweedy marl.  At the same time, a longer, more subtle color blending produces a beautiful gradation in the background coloring.

The Anisie oversized tee is knit sideways in garter and stockinette stitch and uses 2-4 skeins depending upon which size you make.

The 38, 42 and 46" sizes require 2 skeins
The 51, 54, 58 and 62" sizes require 3 skeins
The 66 and 70" sizes require 4 skeins

Shop Uchiwa HERE! We're 99.9999% sure that our initial order will sell out quickly, so we already have more on order! If your favorite color is sold out, check back later to scoop up some of Round Two!
