Ito from Noro is a brilliant self-striping 100% wool yarn with a whopping 437 yards per cake - just one is all you'll need to complete this cozy cowl! The cowl is simply a long rectangle knit in a seed stitch and rib pattern, making for a quick, easy knit...think holiday gifting, folks! Seam the cast-on edge along one side-edge to form the cowl and voila, you're done!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's right: a Christmas Ricorumi Crochet-a-long! Launched this past week (squeeeee!!!), there's a free holiday-themed pattern released every Friday for nine weeks. This adorable penguin is the first one out of the gate, and we can't wait to see which of the remaining eight will be next!
Grab your Ricorumi DK HERE! The penguin uses Shade 001 (white), Shade 004 (pearl grey), Shade 029 (wine red), Shade 037 (ice green), and Shade 053 (caramel). One of each is enough to complete your penguin!

Pressed Flowers Cardigan!
Last week was an amazingly busy week for sweata'-weatha' yarn-choosing!
Andrea Mowry's Big Cozy Cardi, Beach House Knits' Leonida Sweater and Amy Christoffers' Pressed Flowers Cardigan are all equally beautiful and made our hearts skip a beat or two!
The Pressed Flowers Cardigan in particular had us returning over and over again to Haus' sport/DK wall to daydream and conjure up possibilities. This cardi calls for two yarns from Spincycle; Wilder in Light Grey for the main color and Dyed in the Wool in Ghost Ranch for the flowers. While our stock of Ghost Ranch sold out quickly (more IS on order), we've put together a few combos that we think will be just fantastic. It's really quite difficult to select a favorite..we love them allll so much!
