We're always on the lookout for yarn suitable for baby items that allow machine washability and are also safe for machine drying.  Offbeat from Universal Yarn is a snuggly soft blend of acrylic and alpaca with self-striping heathered bands of color that crisply transition as you work. Each cake arrives wound with a whopping 586 yards per cake!

The Log Cabin Blankie is a delight to knit. Worked modularly and entirely in garter stitch, it’s the perfect mindless knitting project. Between its softness and its easy care, this blanket is great for little ones! Overall size is 43¼” L x 36¾” W.
