Spincycle Trine

Brand new in the shop: Trine from the Spincycle ladies -- and we're so excited to have it on the Haus shelves! Each skein of Trine is a 3-ply non-superwash yarn made up of three different solid colors. You'll find some calm color wheel neighbors, some neutrals, and mmmm hmmm, even some power clashes. In other words: something for everyone!

To celebrate the launch of Trine, Andrea Mowry released a new jacket style cardi that uses a combo of Trine and Dream State. The Trinigan cardigan is worn oversized in both body and sleeves to make it easy to layer and perfect to grab as you are running out of the house.

But if you're anything like us right now (swamped with general adulting-life-responsibilities and short on time), you might want to cast on something smaller: the Kemble Beanie! Similar slipped stitch motif as Trinigan but in a doable bite-sized nugget!

Mechita + (Brand New!) Mohair

New from the master dyers at Malabrigo, Mohair combines a luscious mohair and silk blend with gorgeous, signature jewel tones to create a luxe addition to Malabrigo's range of yarns.

The soft, glowy blend elevates Malabrigo’s hand-dyed colorways to the next level of loveliness. Mohair is a lace weight yarn that can be knit alone for light and airy wraps, cowls, and scarves. It can be held double for a bit more substance, or with your favorite Malabrigo yarn to add a silky halo, as well as depth of color.

We've worked up some combos with Mechita in matching colorways and while you could use these for hats, sweaters and cardigans, we're dreaming of whipping up several of the ever-popular Sophie Scarf for a little holiday gift knitting.

Shop Mohair HERE and Mechita HERE! A single skein of each would yield two Sophie Scarves.
