Yearlong Knitalong: January!

Join us Monday, January 2nd, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm for the January installment of the Haus of Yarn Yearlong Knitalong! If you're local, we'd love to see you! What We're Making The Shido Vest pattern is quite simple -- and we can't think of a better way to start off a new year than with hours of simple, relaxing knitting. Worked in allover seed stitch, this one is nothing but knits and purls. You know how to do that already...probably?

Knit using new-in-the-shop bulky weight yarn Tsuido from Noro, Shido is a soft thick-and-thin 100% wool tweed-like yarn with tiny bursts of unspun roving sprinkled throughout. We love the rich palette of saturated hues and think this one is ideal for sturdy cold weather garments.

Shop Tsuido HERE! Bust sizes 36" & 44" require three cakes of Tsuido while 52.5" & 61" require four cakes each.

The pattern for the Shido Vest is free with Noro Tsuido yarn purchase.

Thistle Farms | Ukraine | Love Rises

Remember when we shared with you that Meg traveled to Poland last August with an amazing group of women to meet with Ukrainian refugee women and help them launch a knitting business? Well, their finished blankets have begun to arrive in the States and are available for purchase from the Thistle Farms website! The work these women have been able to accomplish under extreme living conditions - against the backdrop of war - is astonishing.

Take a look at their beautiful Love Rises blankets, which are available right HERE!
