The Monthly Make ~ May!

For May's make, we're working on The Homer Cowl from designer Caitlin Hunter. Homer is knit from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast-on and then worked flat to create a triangle shape. It is then joined in the round and the colorwork section begins.

We chose a superstar shade of Spincycle Dream State for ours and paired it with several shades from the stellar color palette of Big Bad Wool's Weepaca ~ we think mixing these two yarns is a match made in heaven!

Shop Dream State HERE! We used Vibe Check (1 skein).
Shop Weepaca HERE! We used Raw White (2 skeins), Tula (2 skeins) and Prince (1 skein).

If you're local to the Middle Tennessee area, feel free to join us TODAY at 11am for The Monthly Make meet-up! Not local? Join us in spirit, cast on whenever the mood strikes you, and just MAKE something!

Summer Solstice - Willa

New shades of Summer Solstice by Juniper Moon just arrived and if you've been dreaming of a go-to summer make, we think the Willa Tee just might be what you've been looking for.

Summer Solstice is a fantastic sport weight summer tweed. It's a lovely blend of cotton and linen, making it the perfect choice for a lightweight summer tee. Willa is a simple top knit in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back for slight shaping, and there's a lovely little lace motif around the yoke. Willa is intended to be worn with 5” positive ease, depending on the look you're after. Choose a size that's a minimum of 5" larger than your actual bust measurement for a nice and breezy summer top!

Shop Summer Solstice HEREWe have twenty different colors available!
Size 1 (45" bust) requires two skeins, sizes 2-7 (48" up to 71" bust) will require three skeins.
