Pyramid + Biosoft

Well, a new summer sweater fresh off our needles meant we had to go back to the fancy plant place for another round of picture-taking (thanks, Gardens of Babylon!!). This sweet sweater inspiration came to us from a lovely guest from Florence, Alabama (Hi! Kathy B!). Kathy was actually shopping for baby blanket supplies and off-handily mentioned the Pyramid sweater. Meg was intrigued and took a quick peek at Ravelry and bing bang boom, Meg had a new sweater a week later.

Pyramid is a seamless tee worked from the top down; you can easily adjust the length of both the sleeves and the body, so if the cropped length isn't your thing, grab an extra skein and just keep knitting for additional length.

The pattern covers bust sizes ranging from 34" to 62.5" and is designed to be worn with 4-4.75" of positive ease. Full disclosure: Meg made a poor decision and cast on for the 46 1/4 instead of the 38". So technically, yes, it is too big but that hasn't stopped her from wearing it four times already...but it also required a padded bra purchase. You read that right: she bought a padded bra so the sweater would "fit". Don't be like Meg. Just choose a size that's 4-4.75" bigger than what you measure at your fullest bust measurement.

Pyramid is written for Remix from Berroco (which we stock and have loads of!) but Meg used BioSoft from Mondial, since she already has four sweaters made with Remix (a favorite!).  No matter which you choose for your very own Pyramid, you won't be disappointed. They're both incredibly soft, wool-free, easy to care for and super affordable.
