Tama Baby Blanket & Hat

New kit alert! This unbelievably soft baby blanket and hat set features tiny puffs of color that are created by holding two yarns together.  It's easy to knit - with a combination of simple stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch - and worked on the diagonal, which lends a stylish slant to this fun blanket.

Two yarns for this one:
Chibi Paka Chunky is 75% superwash Merino / 25% baby alpaca blend, a combo that results in great body and stitch definition, with a wee bit of halo. It's heavenly soft! Tama contains teensy, tiny pom poms that are spaced evenly along a core; held with Chibi Paka Chunky, the teeny poms deposit little droplets of texture and color.

This kit includes all the yarn (both of them!) you need to complete a baby blanket and a newborn or toddler hat. Finished blanket measures approximately 21" square. Optional pompoms are also included for fancying up the corners if you feel...fancy.

Camellia Fiber Co's Sōm + Beloved

Camellia Fiber Co just launched a brand new yarn and...oh my goodness! It is so gorgeous! Sōm is a lovely blend of alpaca and pima cotton - both fibers we usually associate with drape - but the chainette construction of this yarn also adds loft and structure to this super soft blend.

CFC's Silbia gifted us several preview skeins months ago and we knew the minute we laid hands on it, we knew our sample had to be special. The Beloved Bonnet is just that. In addition to being beyond adorable, the construction of the bonnet is designed to stay put and frame your favorite little face!

Shop CFC Sōm HERE! You'll just need a single skein. The Beloved pattern is HERE.
