Festival Sweater + Double Sunday + Sunday!

While it's not quite sweata weatha in Tennessee, there's time to cast one on and have it ready when it finally is! Stephanie finished this adorable Festival Sweater My Size back in March (!!) and she's been patiently counting the days until she could wear it! The adult sized Festival Sweater is knit using Sandnes Garn's Double Sunday, a soft, durable non-superwash merino with a high squish factor. The Festival Sweater is worked from the top down; the neck edge is folded and knit together and then short rows are worked to shape the neckline. The fun part happens in those stripes (!!!) which are worked using a technique wherein teeny tiny bobbles are made. If you have a little bundle of joy to knit for, there's the Festival Sweater Baby pattern - worked exactly like the adult version - but in a lighter weight yarn: Sandnes Garn's Sunday ... same softness, same squish factor, just in a fingering weight!
