Hipster Shawl + Magpie Swanky DK

We received a glorious restock of both Swanky DK and Sock this past week. Both bases festure a lovely, silky blend of merino, cashmere and nylon with beautiful drape and sheen.

The Hipster Shawl features the Indian Cross Stitch (also called the criss cross stitch or the yarnover cross stitch). Just by wrapping, slipping, and dropping the stitches in a couple of rows, you can get a unique construction that has a lot of "wow" factor! We especially love its generous size; after blocking, ours is 85” x 27”. Worked from the center top down, stitches are increased at each side on every other row to give it its characteristic crescent shape.

Powder Wrap + Magpie Swanky Sock

The Powder Wrap is an asymmetric triangle that's a large, mesmerizing wrap to knit. The three sections repeat until the last part, when you'll work some increases and work cables. The pattern includes video links for doing the cables without a cable needle, as well as a beginner’s alternative in case you don’t want to cable at all.
