Monthly Make: Shortie Socks!
Join us in-store on Monday, June 3rd, from 11:00am - 12:00pm for the June monthly make. These shortie socks are fun, easy and joyful to knit and are also whipped up quite quickly! These socks are designed with color play in mind. The pattern uses six different colors that “fade” for smooth transitions.While this technique is ideal when you want to use up some leftovers from previous projects calling for sock yarn, we chose a Mini Skein 6 Pack from Molly Klein's Sea Horse collection for our sample. We adore these little bundles of fingering weight minis; we've used them in a shawl, a cowl and now we have the cutest little pair of shortie socks!

Along with the arrival of Sandy Shores, we restocked the Bennet Bandana kit, available in six different colors! Bennet is a sweet and simple bandana to toss on or off as weather dictates. The lovely, delicate picot lace edging makes this bandana special without being super fussy. You’re going to love the linen drape and soft feel, which just gets softer and more supple with use and washing. We hear it often: linen isn't "soft". It isn't in skein form - before it's been washed. But we machine-washed our Bennet Bandana sample ONE time and the transformation was remarkable!
