The Biased Garden Cowl in Old Rusted Chair Sock

We've got a very special new pattern release to share this week! The Biased Garden Cowl pattern comes from the creative brain of Kendall, who also teaches at Haus! This pattern's mix of garter and simple lace is worked flat - which allows for some flexibility on overall length - and the finished piece can be worn two ways.

Kendall chose two gorgeous colors from Nashville-based Old Rusted Chair's Sock line and worked her magic. Hers is made in Goblet Green and Go Home, Losers! With fifty-five additional colors in stock, we had to exercise serious restraint in showing you just three possible combos; we are particularly in love with the Horizon/Hipster Scum mix!

Lovin' from the Oven: It's the Baking Doodle Deck!

Y'all know we are obsessed with the neverending combos that the ingenious Doodle Decks from Pacific Knit Co seem to inspire. And look at this new deck that just arrived, pulled fresh out of the oven: it's baking-themed! Look at the KitchenAid mixer! Look at that little whisk! So much charm in so few stitches!

A brilliant idea that inspires creative colorwork, Doodle Decks use flexible mix-and-match chart cards to help you visually arrange and rearrange motifs to design the perfect colorwork cowl project from start to finish. Choose your own individualized adventure and have some fun expressing yourself and you'll end up with a unique, specific-to-you cowl!

Find all of the in-stock Doodle Decks - including the Baking Half Deck! - HERE and see if you can stop once you start. Spoiler alert: you cannot.

We've stocked the sophisticated, vibrant color palette of Coates & Co Studio Tonal DK in both full skeins and mini skeins, which works out perfectly for any Doodle project! Depending on the cowl design you come up with, you'll likely need one full skein and then, oh, six or so minis for optimal color variety and placement - but it's fun no matter how many colors you go with!
