Skip + Wizard = Magic!

Although it's officially still summertime, we are absolutely feeling a little "fall fever"! Last week, we were walloped with incoming shipments (if you shop with us in-person, pardon the mess of boxes; we'll tackle them as quickly as possible!)

But we tore into the boxes containing new colors of Berocco's Wizard, a magical blend of color-shifting hues that knit up into gorgeously soft, remarkably lightweight hats, mittens, cowls and garments. The blend of extrafine Merino wool and nylon is so soft, warm and durable. Also new this season are solid colorways!

It's a perfect yarn for the Skip bandana cowl by Alison Green. This one will work up quickly and we're placing it on the "knitworthy gift list" -- especially if your list requires multiples! The Skip cowl pairs one solid Wizard and one multi-color Wizard to create a wearable piece that's simple to knit. Worked from the top down, slipped stitches create a striking pattern with just two balls of yarn.

Oh My...Mimi!

Welp, we're going to do our best at explaining in writing just how amazing this Mimi fabric is. It's actually embroidered (not printed), then all the various stitch patterns are sewn together, like patches. This. Fabric. Is. Remarkable. The end. 

Mimi is available on three different styles of project bags and a notions pouch. 

• Mimi Caddy - This stand-alone, carry around organizer is perfect to store and keep handy all your tools and notions. It’s fully lined and has four outside and four inside pockets with an ample center well and an ultra suede handle. Thread the ultra suede handle through the closure loop to secure or use as a carrying option.
• Mimi Hope Basket - A roomy stand-alone project bag. Top rolls down for easy access. Wide opening and two handles. Fully lined in a tan, water repellent taffeta. There are three pockets inside.
• Mimi Tall Caddy - This taller version of the Mimi Caddy, is a stand-alone, carry around organizer and is perfect to store and keep all your tools and notions handy. It’s fully lined and has four outside and four inside pockets with an ample center well in cream denim. Thread the ultra suede handle through the closure loop to secure and as a carrying option.
• Mimi Tool Pouch - Features a 10" zipper opening and is fully lined in water repellent taffeta.
