Champagne Cardigan Redux!
Your eyes do not deceive you. Yes, we are still talking about the Champagne Cardigan, because TWO more colors of Sandnes Garn Double Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair hit our shelves after we told you about it last week: Bubblegum Pink and Blackberry Juice. And the elusive Light Grey is BACK IN STOCK for all of you who've been patiently waiting!
We love the Champagne Cardigan so much that we've knit it twice! It's worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke and a deep V-neck. Knit holding two strands of yarn together (one strand of Sandnes Garn Double Sunday along with one strand of Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair), the fabric produced is incredibly soft. There's just something magical how that lace weight strand of silk mohair adds so much squishy softness to the fabric!

Note: it might seem a little tricky calculating yardage for the Champagne Cardigan (since the pattern specifies grams), but we've done some of the figuring for you. Just check the chart above for help with the appropriate number of skeins of both Double Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair!
Tilly + Silky Wool
Have you knit yourself a Tilly yet? Tilly is a simple top, knit in the round from the top down. A few short rows are worked across the upper back for slight shaping. Since it's worked top down, you'll be able to try it on as you knit, which helps determine the length that suits your personal preference best! Knit at a loose gauge, we love it because it works up quickly and is a great layering piece. Sizing ranges from a 50" to a 71 1/2" circumference; it's intended to be worn with a little swing, so you'll want to choose a size that measures at least 10" larger than what you measure at your fullest bust measurement. We've knit Tilly numerous times. For this one we used Silky Wool, a delicious blend of silk and wool. Click HERE to view the available shades we have in stock! Because it's worked at a loose gauge, minimal yardage is required; the 50" and 52" only require four of Silky Wool, the 55 1/2", 60" and 71 1/2" require only five.
* sample shown is in Oxblood and is the smallest size and features longer sleeves!
