Eco Twist + The Everleigh Shirt

The wild-and-wooly, first-this-then-that weather lately isn't keeping us from thinking about warmer-weather knitting and crocheting! We've got our eye on a couple of patterns that make the most of a favorite springtime yarn - Eco Twist - and each has the added benefit of being absolutely free when you buy the yarn!

First up is Sandi Prosser's Everleigh, a casual, garter lace striped tee that's fantastic as a loose slipover, whether you're running errands or headed to the pool. The subtle stripes highlight Eco Twist's textured marl, but don't fret too much about colors working with each other; one of the great things about Eco Twist is that all the colors work together. Just choose three you love and get to knitting!

Eco Twist is a rayon/cotton/linen blend (45/35/20) that swings and drapes like a dream and it'll get softer and softer with every wash and wear. It'll become a favorite summer go-to in no time.

You can take a look at the chart above for your Everleigh's size's yarn requirements before you place your order, but you don't need to buy the pattern. When we see an order for six or seven balls of Eco Twist, we'll know to include the printed pattern in your package.

Eco Twist is RIGHT HERE; you've got a handful of colors to eyeball.

If Crochet is Your, Um, Bag ... Try Eco Twist + Summer Vibes

Also taking advantage of Eco Twist's rightness for the season is the crocheted Summer Vibe Market Bag, which takes just two balls of Eco Twist. Like the name of the pattern implies, it's great for a trip to the market - or, duh, the pool. Just throw everything you need in there and head out!

Again, you'll need just two balls of Eco Twist for the bag. The pattern calls for a US E-4 crochet hook. You can find that RIGHT HERE. The pattern is free for this one as well; if we see an order for two balls of Eco Twist, we'll include it with your order.

Dishcloths: Perfect Easy Travel Projects!

We like to remind you periodically that dishcloths are the absolute perfect project to take along on trips, and now that everyone's knee-deep into their Spring Breaks, here we are again, repeating ourselves! Dishcloths are ideal for this since they require virtually no prep or pesky math. A ball of yarn, some needles, voila. Just add dirty dishes.

Easy Knit Dishcloths and Easy Crochet Dishcloths each offer multiple designs (Knit: 13; Crochet: 11) and each offers a great way to learn and practice skills and create a beautiful supply of colorful, environmentally friendly, reusable cloths for using and gifting. To help beginners get started - as well as "refreshing" more experienced crafters' skills - the “School” portion of each book teaches featured stitches step-by-step. With designs ranging from very simple to challenging, you'll find designs you'll love to make.

Meg is absolutely crazy for every yarn Sandnes Garn sends her way, and their Mandarin Petit is no exception. A fantastic all-cotton ball of 195 yards of fingering-weight color-saturated goodness, one is plenty for any of the dishcloths in either book (dish towel patterns require two).

Find both dishcloth books RIGHT HERE. The wide spectrum of Mandarin Petit is RIGHT HERE.

Mushroom Tape Measure

New to the wide array of tempting goodies at the Haus cashwrap: these adorable crocheted mushroom tape measures!  This adorable happy yellow hand crocheted 60" tape measure features inches on one side and centimeters/millimeters on the other. The tape retracts by pushing the "stem" of the mushroom.

Mushroom tape measure pop up RIGHT HERE. And yeah, we still have the sheep and the fox as well.
