2025's Local Yarn Store Day is in the books and wow! Thank you so much for supporting us (and all LYSs!) in such astonishing numbers. We were giving away packets of zinnia seeds with purchases and we managed to give out almost 200! Y'all were keeping us busy. Thanks again for showing up - both in-store and online - and we look forward to seeing you all the other days of the year as well!

By the way - our seedling are already up after just three days in the soil. Make sure to check their progress next time you pop by!

A Stunning New Easy Folded Poncho

We're here to tell you: nothing delivers a little oo-la-la quite like a new variation on an Easy Folded Poncho! The EFP is a pattern we love (a search reveals we've talked about it a lot), but Patty has put a striped twist on it that has us making all the heart eyes again!

Patty took one ball each of ten colors of Knitting for Olive's Pure Silk, held it double, and simply followed the rest of the pattern verbatim - knitting 36 rows with each color (basically until each color just ran out). The result is stunning, and we love the way she grouped the richer colors together on the front and the neutrals together on the back (the two photos above are of a single poncho!). But you can arrange them any way you like (and we've got twenty colors from which to choose); there's no wrong answer!

You can find Knitting for Olive's Pure Silk RIGHT HERE and the pattern is HERE.

Malibu CAL with Kendall!

Ready to level up your crochet skills? Join Kendall for a fun guided CAL where you can create your own Malibu Tank or Sweater! We adore the retro-inspired contrast stripes in this design, which uses seven vibrant colors of Shiny Happy Cotton. You can also switch it up and make it in a single color or a two-color version. We're gonna get crafty together - but you can make it your own thing!

We have two different sessions for the Malibu Tank/Sweater on the schedule:
July 5th, 12th and 19th ~ 12:30pm until 2:30pm, class fee $50 (does not include materials)
October 4th, 11th and 18th ~ 12:30pm until 2:30pm, class fee $50 (does not include materials)

Shiny Happy Cotton is like the cozy hug you didn't know you needed! Soft, sleek, with beautiful drape, this yarn is perfect for those summer knits or timeless wardrobe classics. We've got seven fabulous colors in stock, but hold onto your knitting needles; a massive order is on its way, bringing you a rainbow of thirty (yes, 30!) colors to customize your Malibu masterpiece. Get ready to unleash your inner yarn artist!

Anker's Summer Shirt KAL with Alison!

Have you created your Anker's Summer Shirt yet? We absolutely adore this shirt for its simple and elegant design. And guess what? The best part is that, aside from weaving in the ends, there's no finishing involved! It's a stress-free project that gives you a stylish result. Dive into summer with this fun and easy shirt today!

Knit using Line Worsted, we love this one for many reasons: it's affordable, it's incredibly soft (the entire Line collection is made with a cotton/viscose/linen blend, meaning no wool, which is good news for those of you with wool allergies!), it's machine washable and is a great cross-seasonal blend that's comfortable year-round. The blend offers the soft and absorbent properties of cotton and viscose, combined with the cool feeling of linen.

Alison will be hosting a guided KAL for the Anker's Summer Shirt; five sessions total!
You'll meet on 5/24, 6/7, 6/21, 7/21 and 7/26. The class fee $100 (does not include materials)
