NEW in the Haus: Bobilon's T-Shirt Yarn
It's a Top Ten Haus of Yarn customer question: do you carry t-shirt yarn? Well, we finally found one without any polyester in it, so now we do - and we literally sold some straight out of the box while we were unpacking it!
Bobilon was another great find from Meg's big buying trip in May to the H&H Market! Established by Olena in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 2016, Bobilon relocated to the Czech Republic in 2022, which allowed the company to continue running. We're tickled to add this gem to our shelves and hope you're as excited as we are!
Bobilon's medium 100% cotton (7-9 mm) ribbon-tube construction is perfect for bags, purses, backpacks, baskets, pillows, slippers, poufs, small rugs, laptop covers, etc. With 109 yards per "wheel," one is enough to knock out this groovy basket (the pattern is print-only at this time and is available HERE). We're carrying it in nine colors, which you can see HERE.
Charming Stitch Marker Charms
If you've seen Meg gadding about town recently, you know she's entered her Bag Charm Era, so we suppose it was only a matter of time before she started wanting to clip knitting tools onto her pocketbook. Give her two hours with a laptop and she can source, order and plan the assembly of just about anything. MacGyver would tremble before her skills.
This colorful plastic clasp holds a half-dozen colored metal stitch markers and attaches to the handle of almost any project bag or purse, keeping stitch markers easily findable -- no more digging in the recesses of a bag! Available in ten colorways, each set comes with six stitch markers; stitch markers fit up to a US 10.5 needle. The ball chain clasp has an approximate 2" drop.

The 20th Annual Worldwide Knit in Public Day
Has a whole year gone by already? Once again, Worldwide Knit in Public Day approaches! Now in its 20th year (!), Worldwide Knit in Public Day is the largest knitter-run event of it's type in the world (we looked it up!). And this Saturday, June 14th, knitters are once again asked to help spread knitting joy by doing a lil' bit of it in public! People all across the globe will be gathering in different spots for no other reason than to knit in public (raising knitting awareness!) and to enjoy each other's company. It'll be like the world's quietest flash mob!
We'd love to see you here at the shop, of course, but we also encourage you to unpack that project bag at the tire shop while you wait...or just about anywhere! Spread the word...and the joy of knitting! Take pics and post them on Instagram (#knitinpublicday) if you can!
