Camptastic! The Summer Camp Kerchief in Knitting for Olive's Pure Silk

If you've stood in awe before the Great Wall of Knitting for Olive here at Haus, you've probably oohed and aahed over KFO's Pure Silk. A great single-skein project that makes the most it is the Summer Camp Kerchief from Ashley R. Adams. Our Vicki worked it up in Dove Blue, but KFO's foolproof color palette will get you a stunning result no matter which shade you choose!

This small kerchief begins with a garter tab, and you work through a series of M1 and YO increases from there. Eyelet details are scattered throughout. The pattern gives you three different eyelet options; make the same one over and over or switch it up and make all three - Summer Camp is eminently giftable!

You can find the pattern RIGHT HERE. You'll find Knitting for Olive's Pure silk RIGHT HERE. You'll need one skein per kerchief!

Sea Isle: BACK IN STOCK!

Sea Isle colors Soft White and Robin - which we used for this in-store version of the perennially popular Easy Folded Poncho - are back in stock! It's hard to keep this particular mix in stock because y'all love it!

It's no secret we adore the Easy Folded Poncho; it's easy peasy, it looks amazing on everyone, and we love the Zen nature of the knitting involved. There are moments in a knitter's life when the mindfulness of producing nothing but stockinette fabric is a treasure, and this thing is a treasure trove of it.

Sea Isle from Plymouth Yarn is a worsted blend of organic Pima cotton and fine Merino with a beautiful drape and a great balance of warmth and breathability. The chainette ply structure creates a fabric that works up with loft and bounce.

Shop Sea Isle HEREYou'll need three skeins (two of the main color and one contrast color) to complete your poncho! While ours uses Robin for that swash of color, don't be afraid to go wild and grab Coral or Blues Cruise instead!

You can find the pattern for the Easy Folded Poncho RIGHT HERE.

That Hat Everyone Wants: The Cambodia Hat

As summer marches along, it seems like everyone needs a raffia bucket hat! Cambodia is an easily-crocheted solution - it's almost faster to make this yourself than it is to drive to the mall to buy one.

We've restocked Wool and the Gang's gorgeous (light and water-repellant!) Ra-Ra-Raffia in both Desert Palm and Coal Black - you only need one "wheel" to crochet this hat - so pop in and get ready for the pool...or the infernal heat of the Trader Joe's parking lot.

You can find the Cambodia pattern RIGHT HERE. Wool and the Gang's Ra-Ra-Raffia is RIGHT HERE. Again: you only need one wheel! You'll need a 3.5mm crochet hook to make the version shown; we have that too, of course!

Cross Stitch Yer Danged Little Heart Out!

It's no great secret that Meg has a soft-spot for cross stitch and Haus has a delightlful little corner of mostly knit- and crochet- themed cross stitch projects to prove it. We've recently restocked Sheepish Manor, a favorite little tiny project kit of ours - the finished image is barely 3" x 4".  The kit comes with silk floss, 36 ct linen, a needle and the chart; the only thing you'll need is your embroidery hoop and some thread snips.

You can find the Sheepish Manor kit RIGHT HERE. Hot tip: this is incredible little gifty add-on or stocking stuffer (it's not too early to think about such things!) for the needleworker in your life.
